You identify Smart City potential and support cities, portfolio holders and project developers in implementing specific Smart City measures that make a difference. You work with digital tools, analyze user needs and derive measures that intelligently connect mobility, energy, climate, resources and urban structure. In this way, you help make cities more livable, more efficient and more resilient. 

Using the Technical Master Plan, you develop next-generation districts and properties that are sustainable, smart and economically efficient. You design living spaces that combine a carbon-neutral energy supply with digitalization, mobility and the circular economy, while at the same time securing quality of life, resilience and economic viability.

In your role, you analyze potential, assess risks, develop use concepts, and support the process from the initial idea and planning permission stage through to investor selection and implementation.

Shape climate-adapted water-conscious urban spaces and develop holistic water concepts that manage rainwater, reduce heat and boost ecological quality. You skillfully analyze local conditions, plan measures in accordance with the sponge city principle, and devise solutions for dealing with infiltration, retention, technical water cycles and heavy rainfall. In this role, you create open spaces that promote biodiversity and make cities more resilient and more livable.
