Our training program
Do you want to start your professional life with a traineeship after leaving school? A great idea, because a traineeship with us will teach you a lot more than what’s on the curriculum. You will be given responsibility early on and work as part of a team from the very beginning – in a strong, dynamic industry.
We award traineeships at different regional offices every year. Training starts on September 1. If you are interested, please apply via our online job portal – ideally one year in advance. You have to submit complete documentation with your application. This includes a curriculum vitae and your certificates (school certificates and references from internships and part-time jobs).
Traineeship info at a glance
- Educational requirement: general certificate of secondary education or subject-specific higher education entrance qualification or equivalent
- Duration of training: three years
- Format: approx. 3.5 days per week at Drees & Sommer, approx. 1.5 days at vocational school
- Traineeship in collaboration with the German Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK)
I have been a vital part of the team since joining Drees & Sommer. The training here is exceptional due to its variety. I am learning across different areas, gaining insights, and expanding my expertise. This prepares me for a successful career, step by step, as I develop into a professional with a comprehensive overview.
I started at Dreso as a trainee in office management. After graduating, I started in the project accounting/project controlling team, where I was not only able to apply my specialist knowledge, but also contribute and develop my personality. Today I work as a trainer myself and I am particularly looking forward to accompanying the new generation on their way into professional life.
