BUSINESS SUPPORT
We organize day-to-day work at Drees & Sommer. This means that we support managers in their operational tasks and with strategically relevant projects. We act as an interface between company management, the internal departments and external business partners. As a team, we plan, organize and coordinate appointments, meetings and business trips. Whether preparing or following up on meetings and events or working on projects – as all-round talents, we create presentations, assessments and decision documents. Depending on the focus, we contribute to internal training as power users, key users or instructors.
Areas of application
As a team assistant, you are responsible for coordinating a whole range of things: In particular, you ensure all team members’ tasks and projects proceed efficiently. You always communicate transparently and ensure that everyone is up to speed on the topics relevant to them. When new colleagues join the company, you make sure that they are quickly and smoothly integrated into processes. You are also called upon when it comes to networking between various teams and units in the Drees & Sommer Group.
You are right at the heart of project action instead of just being an onlooker: As a project assistant, you are fully involved and contribute to achieving project goals. You keep track of everything, even in difficult phases of the project. As an integral member of the project team, you are a key contact person for both customers and colleagues.
Do you want to save the world? Or at least the next deadline or presentation – or perhaps handle an unforeseen challenge in day-to-day work? You take such challenges in your stride by working quickly, independently and reliably, and always keeping track of everything. You also take on organizational tasks for your manager and have even more complex issues fully under control. From coordinating appointments and planning events to answering a wide range of inquiries – as an Executive Assistant, you have to deal with a range of different tasks each day.
Your key strengths are strategic thinking and conceptual skills: As an advisor – for example to a regional office manager – you independently prioritize the concerns of third parties, coordinate stakeholders, and personally drive special initiatives. You have a trustful relationship with your manager and develop backgrounders and decision-making documents for management.
