Are you an experienced project manager ready to take the lead on complex, high-impact projects? In this role, you will drive excellence from concept to completion, acting as a strategic partner to clients and contractors. You’ll be empowered to make decisions, shape outcomes, and contribute to the growth of our business in the Swedish and Nordic markets.
This position offers a unique opportunity to not only lead projects independently but also to grow into a trusted sparring partner for our leadership team - providing support on business matters and mentoring/leading team members, where needed.
YOUR TASKS
- Project Management: Lead and oversee the full lifecycle of projects across the hospitality and commercial sectors, with a strong emphasis on hotel development, refurbishment, and fit-out. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.
- Hospitality Focus: Manage hospitality and leisure developments from feasibility and concept design through to construction, completion, and handover
- Project Goals: Meet defined objectives, including schedules, budgets, and quality standards, by working with interdisciplinary teams to implement cost-effective concepts and solutions
- Client & Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as a strategic advisor, fostering strong relationships and ensuring transparent, proactive communication throughout the project lifecycle
- Compliance & Governance: Ensure adherence to Swedish and Nordic regulations, technical standards, and internal governance frameworks
- Business Development: Support in client acquisition and business development activities, including preparation of offers, expansion of key accounts, and negotiation of contracts, if needed
- Leadership: Mentor and lead the internal project management team
Your Profile
- A completed bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil engineering, architecture, construction management, or a related field
- Proven track record in managing complex real estate or hospitality projects — ideally in hotel development, refurbishment, or fit-out. Additional experience in sectors such as industrial or life sciences or others is an advantage
- Strong knowledge of AB, ABT, and ABK, and other applicable Swedish building regulations
- Ability to lead with confidence and communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and internal teams
- Fluency in English is required. Proficiency in Swedish is desirable but not essential. We warmly encourage non-native speakers to apply.
- International project management as well as leadership/mentoring experience are a plus
