Our EPCM projects for semiconductor fabrication, battery cell manufacturing, life sciences, and chemical plants operate at the forefront of technology. For a large‑scale, highly complex semiconductor project, we are looking for an experienced leader with strong ownership, hands‑on mentality and international site experience. 

Contractual home base: Flexible – any Drees & Sommer office in Germany, Belgium or Netherlands 

Project location: in an EU neighboring country west of Germany (100% on‑site presence required) 

 

YOUR TASKS

  • Overseeing construction management for the execution and commissioning of a highly complex semiconductor manufacturing facility 
  • Full responsibility for schedule, cost, quality and HSE performance during construction, installation and commissioning phases 
  • Compliance with local legal requirements including building and construction regulations and occupational safety regulations 
  • Leadership and coordination of multidisciplinary site teams and subcontractors 
  • Resource and capacity planning to achieve project objectives 
  •  Regular reporting to internal and external stakeholders and interface for the client on-site 
  • Continuous improvement of site processes, workflows and safety culture 

Your Profile

  • Degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical/Building Services Engineering, Architecture or comparable qualification 
  • Extensive experience in senior construction management roles within EPCM industrial or high‑tech projects 
  • Solid understanding of international contract standards (FIDIC, RIBA, HOA, AHO, VOB) and common risk management methods  
  • Fluent in English required; German, Dutch or French is a strong advantage 
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, strong leadership and conflict‑resolution skills 
  • Full flexibility and willingness to travel and work on international construction sites in Germany and Europe
