Do you want to use your time in tertiary education to find your personal path into the profession that suits you best? If so, why not gain practical experience with us and find out which specializations really inspire you. As an intern, student trainee or when working on your dissertation, you will take on responsibility and benefit from personalized support programs and from having supportive colleagues at your side. We are proud that many students who get to know Drees & Sommer during their studies choose to join us after graduation.

INTERNSHIP

Interns are always welcome at Drees & Sommer. Whether you are looking for a voluntary or a mandatory internship: We offer exciting projects in different teams. For example, you can support our project management team in the construction of a new wafer fab or assist our experts with green building certification. We recommend a duration of at least three months so that you can get to know many topics in the appropriate depth.

Work student opportunity

As a work student, you spend a considerable time in one of our Drees & Sommer teams. You gain in-depth insights into our operations, support exciting projects and learn to apply your knowledge from your studies in practice. You will find out what opportunities we offer – and which roles are best suited for you personally. And along the way, you will establish valuable contacts. Who knows, you might even want to stay with us after you graduate? That would be great!

All about work student opportunites

Work students are welcome in all areas of the company, whether in consulting, planning, construction, project management, or in the corporate units.

Scope: personalized; maximum 20 hours per week during the semester, maximum 40 hours per week during semester breaks
Student traineeships are also possible following an internship
Enrolment at a university or college required

As a work student, you are a full-fledged team member with us, support colleagues in their day-to-day business, or have your own area of responsibility that you work on independently.

Thesis

Are you near to graduating and looking to combine theory and practice in your thesis? We offer various options to help you realize your goal. Ideally, you have already completed an internship with us or supported us as a student trainee.

You decide whether you want to undertake a profitability analysis, choose conceptual work, or further refine existing methods. And if you don’t already have a suitable topic, our experienced colleagues will work with you to find one.
