Our Corporate Units (CUs) – Finance, Human Resources, IT and Communication – form the backbone of our organization and are the catalyst for Drees & Sommer project success. Thanks to the work undertaken by the Corporate Units, colleagues from the operational units can focus on their core competencies and core business. The CUs thus make sustainable corporate management possible in the first place.
Areas of application
Finance is the central point of contact for operational units in the areas of accounting, investment controlling, business support and controlling, purchasing, financial services, legal, mergers and acquisitions as well as the development and support of our digital tools. Our core competency is in rolling out and supporting secure high-availability, high-performance digital solutions. This results in exciting projects undertaken in collaboration with employees in a wide range of areas. Various Drees & Sommer Centers of Expertise also ensure excellent international networking. Our Global Shared Service Center supports this international orientation, resulting in ever-changing and stimulating areas of responsibility and work locations.
The Corporate Communication team is responsible for all internal and external communication channels – from social media, our corporate website, blog, press releases and annual report to our social intranet, employee magazine DURCHBLICK, trade fairs and events. Our role is to address target audiences with the appropriate messages and media, and to position Drees & Sommer as an innovation and market leader. We pursue a clear brand management strategy based on our brand essence and corporate identity.
