As an expert in networks and network infrastructure, you will support our internal and some external customers in all aspects of digital networking. YOUR TASKS
- Support and technical maintenance of the network infrastructure (Cisco)
- Collaboration on network projects – depending on your role: planning, implementation, support and configuration of new systems
- Ensuring stable and highly available network operation as the foundation and basis of the IT environment
- Development and implementation of innovative network strategies and architectures
- Proactive monitoring, support, project work and optimisation in various network areas
- Cross-functional support for other specialist teams within global IT
- Acting as a point of contact for technical issues from 2nd level support onwards
- Performing detailed network analyses and diagnostics for troubleshooting and capacity planning using modern network management tools
Your Profile
- Successfully completed IT training, IT degree or career changer with a high affinity for IT and at least three years of professional experience – all are welcome
- Solid professional experience in network infrastructure (routing, switching, firewalling) and basic knowledge of Microsoft and Linux operating systems
- Cisco certification (e.g. CCNA) is required, or good knowledge of Cisco components
- Strong analytical thinking skills, process-oriented approach and an independent and structured way of working
- High level of customer focus, very good communication skills and strong team spirit
- Good level of English
